Welcome to reviewing basics
What does a reviewer do?
The role of a reviewer is that of a quality checker. A reviewer ensures that the files delivered to the client meet the standards we promise. To do this, a reviewer must go over the files submitted under the Edit process thoroughly to
- correct any errors (correct proofreading and grammatical errors, undo incorrect revisions, delete invalid comments, etc.)
- address any gaps (insufficient formatting, insufficient PES-level revisions and comments, missing LFTE/cover letter, etc.)
This short online module aims to help you understand the basic processes involved in reviewing edited files. Let's start with an important step called screening.
